SYNOPSIS

In this captivating and fitting memoir, the mould-breaking children's book author and educator unpacks her life lessons on celibacy, entrepreneurship, and faith, from navigating her way as the headstrong child of a teacher and banker, from the South Side of Chicago to the classroom of

Yale University at 20 years old, landing back in a space where only God Margin resides.

This is her unapologetic story of falling back and allowing God to lead.

Kenyatta Scott is the author of the Globally recognized morally based children's book series, The Violet Book Series, educator, philanthropist, and motivational speaker. In 2020, Scott made history as the first African American woman invited to host a book launch at the third largest International Airport in the U.S., with .Violet Takes Flight.
